Why Musosoup is different

With Musosoup, you won’t waste your budget and time on submitting your material for only feedback or listens. We help you get coverage with one simple submission - while supporting independent music curators too.

Unlike other music promotion platforms, we don’t believe in models where you pay for listens and end up disappointed when you’ve wasted your budget on little or no coverage, or at best some generic feedback. When using Musosoup you get coverage. You are in full control, whether that’s by accepting an offer of coverage, finding a promotion on our marketplace, or accessing free playlisting. It’s a win-win, no-risk platform designed for artists on any budget. And the kicker is that using Musosoup means you are supporting independent music curators, so they can continue supporting you.

No wasting your budget

We think paying for listens and feedback-based approaches can waste your budget. Our platform is designed to get you the coverage you deserve.

You need coverage, not feedback

Paying for just the hope of coverage and receiving short, generic feedback isn’t helpful to you. What is helpful is real, tangible promotion of your music.

Both paid and free options

We understand people have different budgets. You can opt to generate free Spotify playlisting and coverage, or engage in paid promotions. The choice is yours.

Guaranteed coverage, or your money back

If you don’t receive any offers or coverage, free or paid, then we will refund you the cost of your campaign.

Everyone is vetted: artists and curators

We spend a lot of time ensuring artists are ready for coverage and curators are the real deal.

You control the coverage you want

You’re in full control of your coverage. You decide which promotions are best for you and your music, whether it’s playlisting, reviews or other types of press.

Support independent music curators

By using Musosoup you’re supporting independent, grassroots music curators, enabling them to continue discovering and promoting great new music.

Why did we create Musosoup?

We believe musicians deserve better than expensive, risky, old-school PR, or platforms where they pay curators to listen with no guarantee of coverage. Having been in bands ourselves, we hate to see precious promotional budgets wasted. We want to provide a better, fairer and more transparent way for artists to promote their music.

How much does Musosoup cost to use?

Setting up a campaign on Musosoup costs £36 (about $45). You only pay when we have listened to and reviewed your submission. You can then accept free promotions, such as Spotify playlist adds, or engage with paid promotions. Or you can directly apply for promotions on our marketplace.

Why does Musosoup charge for a campaign?

This covers our running costs for maintaining the platform, sourcing curators, building new features and promotional tools, listening to and vetting every submission (this takes a lot of time!) and providing support.
